Online registration has closed!
However if you come along to the check in desk at the UTS tower from 3 – 6 Friday afternoon or at UWS Parramatta South Campus from 7:30 – 9:30 on Saturday morning, you’ll still be able to register in person. Make sure to bring cash though as there are no ATM’s at the UWS campus. Any problems, call Kris on 0401 438 789.
Rego is just $90 (or $80 for groups of 10 or more).
Registration, travel and accommodation scholarships are available.
You can also register your interest in volunteering for Power Shift as part of the registration process.

Congratulations to Amanda McKenzie and Anna Rose for the great job giving evidence at the Senate Select Committee on Climate Change Policy today.
They argued powerfully and eloquently for the need for a strong response to climate change.
Their evidence also highlighted that younger and future generations of Australia and the world will pay a high price if the can’t tackle this problem.
Your work – and the work of everyone involved in Power Shift and Australian Youth Climate Coalition is an important force in creating a political mandate for action.
It’s a growing mobilising force on climate change that Canberra must recognise.
Thank you for coming to give evidence.
Warm regards,
Senator Louise Pratt
hey guys,
what happens with accom ?
do we book our own accom in sydney or can we stay at residences at uws?
cheers,
Maggie
Hey Maggie,
While we are expecting attendees to organise accommodation independently, we are doing our part too!
Our Accommodation Officer, Nicole, will be releasing more details about the amount of placements that we have for interstate attendees and how to secure these in a few weeks’ time.
We’re working flat out to try and secure beds for as many people as possible, but unfortunately we won’t be able to guarantee a spot for everyone. Keep your eyes on this website for more updates as we go!
Cheers,
Jess
hey thanks jess – that helps heaps
its wont be a problem to find accom in sydney its really just a question of whether powershift want us all to be close to the uni and whether thats possible in parramatta…
looking forward to it otherwise – am working on a group from http://www.theoaktree.org
cya there!
maggie
No worries Maggie!
In terms of whether to stay close to Parramatta or not, it’s more expensive near UWS itself, so we’re recommending trying to stay somewhere near Central Sydney – close to the train station – so it’s a bit cheaper and you can just hop on a train in the morning to get to the conference.
It will be awesome to see some Oaktree peeps coming along – can’t wait to see you in July!
Jess
This website looks awesome – well done, all of you!
